+ How do I sign up for services?

+ When are you available?

Our services are available 365 days a year with the exception of major weather events and unforeseen emergency situations. There is an additional 50% charge on holidays. Click here to see the list.

+ How do I schedule an appointment?

If you are an existing client you can schedule an appointment by emailing us at customerservice@danspetcare.com. You can also text your appointment request to (516) 551-1613.

+ How will you enter my home?

We will use either a garage code, keys stored in a lockbox on site at your home or through a keyless entry system such as Latch.

+ What is a lockbox?

We use lockboxes to securely store your keys on site at your home. We use the Master Lock 5400D which are available for purchase at your consultation meeting for $30.00. Click here to learn how to use a lockbox

+ How will I know my pet was cared for?

All of our visits are GPS tracked and verified with Time to Pet. As a client, you will receive your own account through which you can schedule and cancel appointments, contact our team, and view any invoices on your profile. At the start of each appointment you will receive a notification letting you know the visit has started and then at the end you will receive a report card showing where your dog was walked, for cats and other non-outside visits you will see that we were there, notes about the visit and photos.

+ Will the same person be walking my dog?

It will be the same team members who have been trained with your pet but we cannot guarantee just one team member. We set you up with a team of trained pet care specialists who are trained to the last detail to ensure perfect delivery of services. Our team members will always be introduced to your pet by a trained senior team member to ensure your pet gets the care they need.

+ What happens if there is bad weather?

We walk dogs and complete other pet visits regardless of the weather. Pet waste removal is suspended when it is raining or snowing.

+ What is your cancellation policy?

Any appointments that are cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will result in a full charge for that appointment.

+ What if I need an appointment within 48 hours?

We always advise clients to be on a recurring schedule to ensure that we can deliver on your requested visits but we do our best to accommodate last minute requests. Anything booked within 48 hours will incur an additional $10.00 fee.

+ Is there a walk minimum per week?

Nope! Once you are set up with us you are not locked into using us for any specific number of visits. We have clients who use us 3 times a day, 7 days a week as well as clients who call us once every few years. We always advise our clients to get on a recurring schedule in order for us to be able to lock you in the schedule for guaranteed service delivery.

+ Can I stop my service at any time?

Yes, you are not locked into using us for any period of time. We want to ensure that you are satisfied with our services so if you were thinking of cancelling due to an issue that has taken place just call or text us at (516) 551-1613 or you can email us at customerservice@danspetcare.com

+ Do you walk multiple dogs at a time?

If you have more than one dog in your home we absolutely can walk them together but we do not walk dogs together as a group unless they are from the same home. We believe the individual attention we can give to your pets is important and we take pride in the attention we can give your pets while we are with them.

+ Are you available over the holidays?

Absolutely! We are available for services 24/7/365. During the holidays we do book up quickly so request that you notify us at least 8 weeks in advance. Holidays do incur an additional 50% fee per service.

+ How do I pay?

We try to keep things as simple as possible when it comes to paying for our services. Through our system Time to Pet, you can upload your credit or debit card to your profile and payments are automatically submitted Monday-Friday. You can view any invoices on your profile, as well as get emailed any upcoming charges.

+ When do I pay?

All of our billing is pre-billed by one week, so each invoice is due a week before the start of services. In order to book services with us we do require payment in advance. For services requested the day of you will be charged that day for services.

*For any services that were charged but canceled outside of our cancelation policy, the amount will be applied to your account as an open payment to be deducted from your next invoice

+ Are you bonded and insured?

Yes we are! Our insurance policy information is available upon request.

+ Can you take my dog to the dog park?

No, at this moment we do not offer this service.

+ What time will you be arriving to take care of my pet?

For dogs we provide you with service windows for your requests. We schedule accordingly within the time block for your pet(s)' needs. Due to the nature of the schedule and occasional circumstances we are unable to be at your house at an exact time every visit, however the time window allows for us to schedule accordingly and have consistency!

+ How often will you come to walk my dog for pet sitting?

For In-Home Overnight pet sitting services, we can come as frequently as you would request

We recommend 3 packages. Each of these options can be a relief, regular or extended walk or any combination of these options.

Basic Package (3 Visits Per Day):

1st Visit 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM

2nd Visit 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

3rd Visit 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM

$10 discount per day

Standard Package (4 Visits Per Day):

+ Are there any extra fees on nights and weekend visits?

Unlike most other companies we don’t charge you extra for walks on weekends but we do charge an additional fee of $10 for any walks before 8 AM and after 8 PM.

+ How do I claim my FREE WALK?

To claim your free walk, mention the ad you came across to a member of the management team during your consultation meeting.

*ONE FREE WALK IS EQUIVALENT TO A 30-MINUTE REGULAR WALK FOR ONE DOG Any additional pets will incur an additional fee. This is a $35 value for the Free Walk. This can also be used for a free 30 minute cat visit as well.
