On August 25th Hurricane Harvey devastated the Gulf Coast, it was less than a week later that Isabel and Kenny Pymm reached out about a trip down to Texas to drop off donations and help with animal rescue efforts.
Did you know 3.9 Million dogs enter our nations shelters every year? It is our hope through this video to be able to create awareness and support for local shelters throughout our country to get dogs adopted into their forever homes!
Prior to Hurricane Harvey making landfall in Texas, Gunner's family had temporarily relocated for work up to Pennsylvania while Gunner stayed with family friends back in Texas. Unfortunately, during the chaos, Gunner was lost and ended up at Austin Pets Alive!
This week we are featuring a big loving goofball named Zeus! He has been living at The Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter since 2011. He is full of love, leash and house trained as well as a great hugger!
